We know you are concerned about your health and fitness.  We know we cannot answer all of you questions on this site.  We want to make sure your questions are answered.  Please look through the following frequently asked questions and the corresponding answers.  If you still have questions, please use our contact page to contact us or call us at 505-744-5187 and we will be happy to assist you.

1.  How do I get started in PT?

At Mannon Motion, Ltd. Co. we've made the process very easy.  Just call 505-744-5187 and you will be given directions to our facility.  Once you arrive you will be given an introductory packet than contains all the forms you will need to complete.  We will ask that you complete those forms and return them to our office upon your evaluation. That packet also contains information about our business, some tips for success in PT and your rights and responsibilities as a client.  Your therapist  will work with you to establish appointment times that work best for you.

2.  Do I need a RX for PT?

Most insurance companies require a physician's order for PT.  However, some insurance companies have acknowledged that PTs are qualified to provide services without a physician order.  If you are not sure as to the policy of your insurance company, please just ask, if we don't know we will find out for you.  For self-pay services a physician order is not necessary.  Medicare still requires a physician order for PT services.

3.  Do you accept my insurance?

At Mannon Motion, Ltd. Co. we accept Medicare, Medicaid, Worker's Compensation, Aetna, United, BCBS, Presbyterian, Cigna, Lovelace, Molina, and many others.  If you have insurance through another company, please contact us any how, we expand our provider base regularly and may still be able to serve you.

4. What types of therapy do you perform?

Your therapy interventions will be determined by your highly qualified Physical Therapist.  Each client's treatment is personal and individualized.  Our therapists have Master's degrees in Physical Therapy and work hard to develop sessions that can include ultrasound, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, phonophoresis, biofeedback, Maitland manual therapy, soft tissue and joint mobilization, therapeutic exercise, self management techniques, cardiac rehab, stroke rehab, McConnell or Kinesio taping to name just a few of the interventions we prescribe.

5.  How long/ often are my treatments?

Your therapist will make recommendations for frequency and duration of your treatments based on your individual needs.  In general, most clients are seen 2 -3 times per week gradually decreasing to one time per week as you get closer to meeting your goals. Most sessions last from 30-60 minutes.  Our goal is to help you to become independent with your exercise regimen.

6.  How are you different for other PTs?

At Mannon Motion, Ltd. Co. we provide one on one sessions for our clients.  Our focus is on quality, not quantity.  We have a strong emphasis on therapeutic exercise and are firm believers in the benefits of movement. We believe motion is lotion for the human body.  We are committed to do what it takes to get our clients moving again and continuing to move throughout their life.  Exercise and fitness are imperative for high quality of life.  We have combined our PT services with a fitness center setting to give our clients every opportunity to reach their health and fitness goals in a fun and safe setting.  A body at rest stays at rest, but a body in motion stays in motion.
